Dr. Christopher Mote

Christopher Mote, D.O., D.C. is a dual-degreed and board-certified family medicine physician specializing in functional medicine and lifestyle transformation. He has provided comprehensive primary care to patients since 1999. Because of his immersion in conventional and chiropractic medicine, he is uniquely equipped to approach patients with the best in medical technology, research and treatment to help them achieve lasting health.

Dr. Mote is a pioneer in <LINK TO PAGE>functional medicine</A>, receiving his first formal training and certification in this field in 2001.  Since then, he has served as a functional medicine expert, author, speaker and consultant to physician groups, nutraceutical companies, medical laboratories and other healthcare clinicians.

Dr. Mote graduated with a D.O. degree from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University. He completed a family medicine residency at Resurrection Hospital in Chicago. He previously obtained a doctoral degree in chiropractic medicine from National University of Health Sciences.

Devoted to the latest in medical breakthroughs, Dr Mote is currently pursuing certification through the Institute of Functional Medicine to provide his patients the most progressive care available.

Known for his clinical expertise, teaching gifts, active listening skills and compassion, Dr. Mote provides each patient the bedside manner recognized by his peers and clinical supervisors during his residency, where he was awarded the prestigious Arnold P. Gold Humanism Award for exceptional clinical skills and interpersonal skills in patient care.

Dr. Mote and his family moved to Colorado from Illinois to enjoy year-round, outdoor living. He looks forward to partnering with you in health.

Jennifer Mote

Jennifer is passionate about helping people identify their life’s mission and unleash their talents to fulfill it. She has developed a unique approach to vocational counseling gleaned from more than 20 years of experience serving in Human Resources roles. Her previous professional stops include Walgreen Co., high-tech consultancies and Willow Creek Community Church in suburban Chicago.

In the spirit of Cornerstone’s commitment to holistic care, Jennifer helps patients understand the interconnectedness of personal health and vocational satisfaction. Using an array of respected assessment tools, she guides patients through processes designed to help them define their unique mission, develop their talents, map their plan of action — and move toward their goals.

Jennifer is a certified facilitator for LifePlan and Listen to My Life. She also has received training in Advanced Counseling for Trauma and Abuse through the Allender Center; Simply Strengths and Strong Manager training by the Marcus Buckingham Company and training in Lominger’s Leadership Architect Competency Model through Korn Ferry. Jennifer has a certificate in Spiritual Direction from North Park Theological Seminary and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Indiana University.

She is Dr. Mote’s wife — and delights in joining him in the great outdoors with their children.
